Till the end of November, all my posts will start this way: I’m raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK by knitting every day in November. It’s important to me because my dad has Alzheimer’s. If you feel so moved, you can donate here.

I had hoped to have the supplies to start on a brand new project, but I’m waiting for a delivery! So we’re beginning with a recently started project, a Christmas knit for my sister’s boyfriend.

She requested fingerless mitts with a little flap that could give extra warmth when needed. He’s a musician and often plays outdoors, so I’m hoping I can get the fit correct.

The marker shows where I’m starting from – progress will be shown tomorrow!

There is no end to the benefits of fingerless mitts. I love the yarn choice. The pop of green is great.

It’s just enough to be interesting without being overwhelming

Look forward to your updates. Good Luck with the fund raising, my Mum had the same problem as your Dad. Not easy is it? Love your marker.
