If I sits, I knits
By request from someone who traded me a LOT of beads and semi-precious stones (and who I already liked anyway)… It’s nearly time to start another Doctor Who scarf.
The usual deliberation over colours is complete, and I’m using a couple from stash. They’re all the same brand this time, so while I still don’t think the colours are perfect (especially the khaki) at least they’ll all be the exact same weight and give a nice even finish, no wibbly wobbly lines.
Ha! Last time I made one I timed it at 24 hours of knitting. I have two other projects on the go and another to try and figure out (that blasted mysterious stitch!) so the scarf is on pause until one or more of those is complete. But sometimes the urge to buy yarn is just too strong to deny.
Oh that’s pretty good! 24 hours is less than I thought…but then again my imagination likes to exaggerate things and probably made the scarf WAY longer than it is.
Oooh that stitch! I’m still hunting down that stitch. The closest I’ve found is not close enough, sadly, so I’m still hunting.
Must… buy… yarn. I know that urge too well. I’m currently swatting at the little devil on my shoulder telling me to go ahead and place an order.
