Till the end of November, all my posts will start this way: I’m raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK by knitting every day in November. It’s important to me because my dad has Alzheimer’s. If you feel so moved, you can donate here.

Yesterday didn’t have very much to show for it – and it all needs ripped out and knitted again!

It’s an inch too big, so I’m going back to the pattern to shift things around. I’m having terrible trouble getting the maths to math. What is it about knitting that makes counting seem like advanced physics?

I was pleased with the ribbing though. I kept both larger and smaller needles on the go, swapping between the two circulars as I got to the edge. It’s much nearer with the 5mm as opposed to the 6mm I’m using for the body.

Anyway, off I go to rejig things for the dozenth time!
