Once again I’m absolutely delighted to be sent some snaps of a gifted knit in use.

The fox blanket was a gift for this particular wee pal when he was born. Almost three years later and he’s still snuggled up under it.

It also looks pretty great for three years of age. It’s a bit bobbly and fuzzy, which frankly I think is just how it should be. The things I knit aren’t museum pieces, they’re not to be kept for best. They’re for using, wearing, spilling dinner on, throwing in the wash, and covering up with on a rainy day.

It makes me feel very happy to see this still being used exactly as it was intended.
