I’m making good progress for the only Christmas knitting I (currently) have planned – a Wingspan by request from my mum.

I’m using Scheepjes Whirl (again) because it’s a dream to work with. I’ve chosen something more colourful this time round – a tiny risk, since mum did really like the original, but these shades are so pretty that I hope she’ll love them too.

As you can see, I’m having a spot of bother with the linen stitch section, but trust that blocking and possibly a wee stitch to the back will even it out.

      I think so, she’s generally pleased with almost any gift because she appreciates the thought and effort of them at least at much as the things themselves.
