I’m visiting with my sister and was reacquainted with Steve the flamingo!

I cannot find the pattern I used – probably because I made some adjustments on the fly, so the finished object doesn’t look like the pattern picture… Around the same time (which feels like a hundred years ago), I made a cousin for Steve in a more traditional pink colour. I don’t know why Steve is white – just seemed to be the correct choice in the moment – but with his rainbow beak and legs, I think you’ll agree that he’s very special, not to mention adorable.

Steve lives with many other birds in a wooden frame. Each of the birds have their own compartment so there is adequate privacy, but also plenty of company. He seems very happy here.
