Darren is made from the same pattern as the super cute octopus that I use for a profile pic. I used a heavier, fuzzy yarn (Stylecraft Cosy Delight Chunky – I have 5.5 skeins to sell if you’re looking for some!) and a bigger hook. Placing the eyes was more of a challenge, he looks a little gormless but this was the best option.
He’s named after a character in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He’s just all face. If you’ve seen it, you know.
Darren is a simple soul who enjoys wearing a sun hat, adjudicating at board games, and being hugged.
